Next Steps: Accepted Students

Have you been admitted to St. Thomas? Congratulations!

Here are your next steps:


Please note: the following steps are for students admitted to the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Applied Arts programs. Next steps for students admitted to other programs will be sent to successful candidates at the time of their admission.


STEP 1 | Accept Your Offer of Admission

Confirm that you will be attending ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û by viewing your online decision letter and clicking “Reply to Offer.”


Click on the "Next Steps" tab and follow the steps to pay the non-refundable $100 (CAD) admission confirmation deposit. This deposit will be applied to your tuition and can be paid by credit card through your applicant portal.

STEP 2 | Submit Your Residence Preferences

If you plan to live in residence, please complete your residence preference profile by logging into your application portal at and going to "Next Steps."

STEP 3 | Apply for Scholarships and Bursaries 
Deadline: March 1, 2025

To be considered for scholarships and bursaries, you must submit an application within your applicant portal after you receive an offer of admission.  

 

The deadline to apply for scholarships and bursaries is March 1, 2025, but you are encouraged to apply as soon as you receive your offer of admission as scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis as funds allow. The sooner you apply, the sooner you may receive an offer.  

 

By submitting one complete application, candidates will be considered for the majority of awards that are available to entering students.

STEP 4 | Keep Up With Your Future Campus

Stay informed and up to date on the latest campus news by following St. Thomas University on Instagram and TikTok (@stthomasu). 

 

STEP 5 | Register For Your First-Year Classes

First-year course registration opens in the spring! Beforehand, you will receive a registration email with information on courses and the registration process. Once you have fully registered for courses, you may obtain a confirmation of enrollment letter . Please note: you will need to log in using your ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û network credentials.

 

STEP 6 | Send Us Your Final Transcripts

If you’re attending high school or a post-secondary institution, you must make arrangements for your year-end grades to be submitted to the Admissions Office. Once your final transcript has been received and the Admissions Office confirms that you’ve met our admission requirements, you will receive email notice that your admission is finalized.

 

STEP 7 | Contact Accessibility Services (if applicable)

If you have a permanent, documented disability and require academic accommodations you are encouraged to contact Student Accessibility Services before June 30 to make appropriate arrangements.
